Moonlight Concert 2018 – August 11

Saturday, August 11, 2018 – 7:30pm-10pm   (Rain Date – Aug 12)

As darkness falls…

This August plan a trip to Paradise in the Annapolis Valley to hear the Annapolis Big Band perform the great tunes of the 30’s and 40’s, and some more modern tunes as well, outside under the stars for your listening and dancing pleasure.   Bring lawn chairs and perhaps a picnic and enjoy this live performance of the fabulous music as played by the Big Bands of the time such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and others. No pets please or barbecues.

A donation in support of the Paradise Community Hall will be appreciated.  Free parking is available on the grounds at Ellenhurst and on site transportation is provided for people needing assistance.  The Moonlight Concert is a magical evening of music in a wonderful outdoor setting.  Rain date is the following evening.    Further information 902-584-3570 or Moonlight Concert Website.

Moonlight in Paradise – Weather Update #1

Status Saturday 9am – While a final decision has yet to be made, it certainly looks doubtful that we will be able to hold the Moonlight Concert in Paradise tonight (Sat). Thankfully, we have a backup date on Sunday, August 13… That being said, things COULD change and the sun COULD be shining in the Valley by mid afternoon… so check back here throughout the day for more solid announcements.

For more information on this concert, head over to the Moonlight Concert website.

Save the date – Spring Serenade in Paradise

The Annapolis Big Band and the Paradise Active Healthy Living Society invite you to hear great music, enjoy some tasty nibbles and beverage of your choice, catch up with friends and neighbours and welcome Spring in a “Big Band kinda way”… you may even want to dance a little!

At the Paradise Community Hall, 10300 Highway 1 in beautiful Paradise, Nova Scotia.
